Summary: Check in was smooth, room was clean. Bathroom could use a few fixes but clean. Breakfast was good, lots of variety for a continental. Appreciated the Keurig coffee in the room.

Summary: Room was ok at best. Bathroom seemed dated and not so clean as we got some stenches. Also, the AC kept acting up but worked at the end.

Summary: It was better than we expected. Customer service was excellent and they were very understanding when we expressed a concern about a leaky toilet. They upgraded our room to a theme room, which was amazing!

Summary: Hotel was perfectly adequate. Rooms are old and dated, but the staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary continental breakfast available helps save a bit of money. Central to highways and there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Summary: The super 8 in Castlegar is worth staying at. The pool area is top notch and the breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Good rates and friendly staff.

Summary: We had booked this hotel for the pool and waterslide but unfortunately the water slide is closed. The pool is very cold but our child didnt seem to mind. The breakfast was okay, would have liked to see more hot items. The staff was kind and quick to provide items asked for. The hotel is looking a little tired. There is the trains that run close behind the hotel which can be nosy during the day. The hotel is close to stores, with a grocery store in short walking distance.

Summary: Hasn’t been cleaned properly in years, built up dirt, it light fixtures, corners, and so on. Very nice staff. Room rate far too high for condition.

Summary: We had previously stayed at this location while visiting family and the area with overall satisfaction. The location was picked for our 3 night booking based on our prior positive experiences and in case bad weather made indoor alternatives necessary. Unfortunately our latest experience was different. The following contributed to our overall disappointment: the attached restaurant is currently closed as it is being renovated with construction fencing surrounding the area to the side of the hotel front door, the waterslide in the hotel could not be used, the room we stayed in had mould in the caulking around the tub, the overhead fan in the shower had an abundance of lint visible and we had to go the front desk to ask for towels as none were supplied in the room, the TV had a bare minimum of channels. Breakfast options were toast, muffins, waffles, apples, oranges, coffee, tea and juices. We were told the first morning when asking if there were eggs available (boiled at minimum) that they wouldn't have any for a couple of days. There is a Safeway next door. Thankfully, boiled eggs were provided the last morning we were there. To end with a positive, the staff we spoke to were very nice and helpful.
